As far back as she can remember Deborah has been an animal lover. Her fondness and empathy for pets dates back to her early childhood. At the age of sixteen she began grooming and caring for her own dogs. In 1979 she started her professional career in the dog world through breeding and showing standard poodles and she’s been hooked ever since.

Her breeding program has featured many Canadian and International group placing champions. In 1990 Deborah became a master groomer and opened her own pet grooming salon, “Groomingdales Pet Spa.” Groomingdales was soon followed by “The Academy of Grooming”, a pet grooming school head mastered by Deborah and then “Pet Zone”.

“ Pet Zone” was a live weekly television show about animals hosted and produced by Deborah. After working on “Pet Zone” for many years Deborah asked to place the show on hiatus because of her increasing responsibilities in her new store, The Just About Pets Wellness Centre and her burgeoning breeding program. Deborah is also a Certified Tellington Touch Practitioner and is currently the owner and CEO of three companies; Just About Pets Wellness Centre Inc., Heart to Heart Holistics and Be Mine Kennels.

Deborah cares deeply about people and their pets and nothing in life brings her more joy than matching up her beautiful standard poodle puppies with you, their perfect owners.
